Osteoporosis, a potentially life threatening condition, is occurring in epidemic proportions.
It progresses without symptoms of pain until a fracture occurs, generally in the hip, spine or wrist. Osteoporosis
affects more than 80% of all women over the age of 65, and 1 in 8 persons with this osteoporosis are male.
Today, 28 Americans have this bone thinning disease, osteoporosis.
Identifying your risk factors for osteoporosis is an important step toward treatment and prevention of disability.
